I bought recently scratched a 24-inch Monitor Samsung SyncMaster 244T and after leaving the pits. I read somewhere that someone opened your monitor and removes a protective layer. I know I saw a protective coating on cell phones, but I never saw my monitor to get, and I fear that opening. I'm not really sure how deep is zero. I can live with that, but it can be determined, I would try.
